The Grange Academy was developed with the ambition of bringing a new level of youth cricket development to Scotland. Initial planning for the concept started in early 2015 with the first programme being launched in January 2016.
The objective of the Academy is to provide young cricketers with professional coaching and an exposure to a high performance environment with the aim of turning out rounded individuals for sport at various performance levels. The squad comprises of players with the relative development stage with emphasis on small group, one-to-one training and individually tailored development plans.
John Blain and Dr. Rajeev McCrea-Routray are greatly looking forward to leading the programme again this year with assistance from a specialist coaching team.
